SoundTaxi

I finally downloaded and purchased SoundTaxi. But there is a small problem. SoundTaxi is licenced per host. Which means once you install soundtaxi. There is no way to install it on any other host. Now, I installed it on my Office PC, but actually want to use it on my home PC. There is no way I can do that now. How sad!!, But you can stil go ahead and download it from the link in the previous post. It is about 15$ to purchsae, not bad if you have plenty of songs with DRM on them and if you want to get those songs onto your iTunes.

DRM and Music Players

I like iTunes. It is a nice player. I also like free songs that iTunes gives away every week. I download most of them. It was okay since I did not have an MP3 Player till now. But, I do have one now. And it is not from Apple. It is a Sandisk Sansa M240. Now, How do I get this music onto my new player. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution. I found a tool called as SoundTaxi. It seems to be listening to the song when it is being decoded and creates Mp3 out of those. Not sure what quality will it generate. Has anyone used it? If not, and want to, do click on the link and get a copy for yourself.

Best deal so far

I think, the deal that I am going to write about, has been the best deal so far. I would say, grab it you get it.
It is a Skagen Women's Studio Watch # 228SSLMPB. I paid $30 for it.
The price went up to 80+ next day. I think it is much cheaper now, but still costlier then $30.

Sony DCR HC32 with extra battery NPFP50

I purchased a Sony DCR-HC32 MiniDV Handycam Camcorder with 20x Optical Zoom, Handycam Station, & Extra NPFP50 Battery from Amazon. It is a neat camera (I did not use it though, I gifted it). I got a deal then for 299$ for both. I kind of had to twick back and forth between various options, as the price did not show up automatically, which was funny. (I was getting on one page, price as $319, and on another as 299$, dunno why.. I obviously chose the cheaper one). It seems to have gone back to $429. Don't know why...

I still feel that I got a good deal. What do you think?

Sandisk Memory Stick

The first item I ever bought on Amazon.com was a SanDisk 1 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (SDMSPD-1024-A10). I paid 58$ about for it, and got some refund as well as mail in rebate. . Amazon now sells it for about 40$. Keep looking for mail-in rebate offers.
