Here is a new cable modem by Netgear. Model Number is CM1000.

It is a DOCSIS 3.1 and from what I understand, it is possible to take it upto gigabit speed.

One of the older Netgear Range Extender has gone on sale at Amazon. It is Netgear EX2700. This is an old workhorse that continues to be popular. Compared to some of the newer models (which cost about 5 times the price), you can throw in two of these and get your entire house covered.
Just one note, this one is not compliant to 802.11ac.
